Chinese Carved Wooden Box

Item Details

A Chinese carved wooden box with Asian influences. The vintage handmade piece features a removable lid which opens to an interior with five round concave spaces. The dark stained interior is decorated with four blossoms between the round spaces. The exterior lid is decorated with a carving of similar blossoms arising and falling from a vase on a pedestal. The box rests on four short scrolled feet. This item has illegible marks near an interior corner.
