Seriolithograph after Itzchak Tarkay "Indigo Chapeau"
Item Details
In Plate
A seriolithograph on paper after the original work titled Indigo Chapeau by well-listed Israeli-American artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935 – 2012). Seriolithograph printing is a method developed specifically by Michigan’s Park West Gallery; it involves creating a digital print, and applying clear, textured glaze to the composition using serigraphy methods. This print depicts the figure of a woman in early 20th-century dress wearing a blue hat, or chapeau. Artist facsimile signature is printed in plate to the lower right margin. This print is matted in linen with a gold liner and presented behind glass, housed in a faux finished gold tone carved frame.
