Crosley Field Seat

Item Details

A single Crosley Field stadium seat. Crosley Field was the home field of the Cincinnati Reds (baseball and football teams), the Cincinnati Bengals (1937, 1941-1943), Cincinnati Tigers, Buckeyes and the Clowns (all three were Negro League Teams). The seat is made of wood with a metal frame and is self-standing. There is a black ‘2’ that was painted on the seat back. Redland Field was renamed Crosley Field in 1934; Crosley was the last name of Powel Crosely Jr., the owner of the Reds from 1934-1961.

Condition

- seat has wear and paint loss; each side has a remnant of a bracket for the next seat that was once attached.
