A late Victorian Meriden silver plate ice water pitcher with a porcelain liner, circa late 19th century. This pitcher has a cube finial with an engraved lid and cast bear figurine mounted to a faceted handle. It has a covered spout and an engraved acanthus decoration towards the bottom. Marked ‘Patented By JAS Stimpson 1854 Extended For Seven Years’ and with Meriden B Company emblem.

- some tarnish to silver plate.
