Item Details
An Art Nouveau style bronze tone metal lamp by French sculptor Julien Caussé (1869 – 1914). The female figure appears to be dancing, body turning, arms gracefully outstretched. She holds a flower in one hand. A small plaque on the circular wooden base reads, ‘LYS par J. Causse’. The sculptor’s signature may be found near the figure’s feet. There are two sockets on a rod which rises behind the woman. The lamp comes with a white fabric shade.
