An original oil painting on board by Brazilian artist Joao Medeiros. This painting depicts a hilly landscape with trees in the distance below an overcast sky. Executed ‘en plein air’ style, the paint is thick and brush work is evident. The colors of pale green and yellow evoke a spring scene. The painting is signed to the lower left and is framed in natural wood. To the verso is found the writing, _Joao Medeiros, Brazilian, (Porto Alegre, RGS). Wired to hang.
