The Impressionism style oil painting on board by a Cincinnati artist, depicts the long shadows of winter light in a snow covered forest scene. Vogt studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy with Frank Duveneck, who greatly influenced his painting style. This painting is signed ‘L.C. Vogt’ to the lower left in red. The art is presented in a wood veneer frame. It includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
