An antique pair of Sèvres style ormolu-mounted lidded vases, estimated early 1900s. These French porcelain urns/lidded vases are hand painted in the Sèvres style of a courting couple on the front and a landscape scene on the reverse. Vases are cobalt blue with matching artistically altered painted scenes. The vase body includes an ormolu gallery, arched handles, finial and base. Painted scene is signed ‘Rochelle,’ and base plate is incised ‘France.’
