An Indian Bengal tiger pelt rug, with canvas backing. No baring teeth and eyes sewn shut, no claws. Circa 1950.
- Please note that per CITES Appendix 1 the Indian Bengal tiger is considered an endangered species, and as such the sale of the pelt, though pre-ban, must be kept within the state of Kentucky. Interstate sale and transportation is illegal under CITES, and therefore the winning bidder of the rug must provide proof of current residence within the state of Kentucky. The rug will also not qualify for shipping outside of the state of Kentucky.
