Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Pottery by Inez Wing and Ruth Root
Item Details
A selection of pottery made by artisans of the Ute Mountain Ute Native American tribe. Included is a larger vessel and smaller bud vase signed to the base by Inez Wing and one small bowl signed by Ruth Root. All three are painted with black geometric patterns over stripes of white, earthy red, and gray. The small bowl is also finished with a clear glaze. One is marked ‘E-10 #1130’; one is marked ‘#17 #1136’; and the last is marked ‘E-3 #1136’.
