Item Details

A vintage cherry chest of drawers by the Davis Cabinet Company. This American Empire style chest features one overhanging drawer over three stacked drawers equipped with wooden knob pulls. The lower drawers are flanked by spindle turned stiles and the piece rests upon turned feet. The top drawer is marked to the interior with a cloth label reading ‘Davis Cabinet Company Craftsmen of Fine Solid Wood Furniture Nashville, Tenn.’ and the back of the piece is marked ‘325 Chest Collectors Cherry Davis Cabinet Co. Nashville, Tenn.’.
