A late 19th century Vanity Fair print titled ‘Judges No. 8 – A Little Lush’ dated May 31, 1873. The original illustration was created by Sir Leslie Matthew Ward (21 November 1851 – 15 May 1922), a British portrait artist and caricaturist who drew or painted numerous portraits which were regularly published by Vanity Fair, under the pseudonyms ‘Spy’ and ‘Drawl’. This piece is print signed ‘Spy’ to the lower right. It is housed in a thin frame with black finish.
