A six piece set of antique sterling silver butter pats by Wood & Hughes. The pattern features repoussé borders with scroll and shell motifs, having gold wash to the inside base. The bottom is marked ‘W & H Sterling 383’ for the Wood & Hughes company of New York, in operation from 1845 to 1899. The sterling silver content for the grouping weighs approximately 3.730 ozt.
