A vintage offset lithograph after an etching by listed artist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917), titled Covered Bridge. Sawyier, who is Kentucky’s foremost American Impressionist painter, created over 3,000 works of art. This print depicts a covered bridge spanning across the Elkhorn River near Frankfort, Kentucky; steeples of churches rise in the background, while several rowboats are docked on the shore in the foreground. This piece is presented within a white mat with a black liner, and is set behind glass within a simple black frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.
