An oil on canvas painting by Helen J. Messer (American, born 1958) titled The Flower Market. This painting depicts a flower market with a wooden structure to the left and a field of colorful flowers to the right. The painting is rendered in textured and expressive strokes and is signed to the lower right corner. The painting is housed in a gold tone wooden and gesso frame with ornate floral medallion corners and a red-orange liner and the verso of the frame features a copy of the artist’s CV.
