The spoons are well marked to the handle back with initial hallmark ‘SH SR JED’ for makers Solomon Hougham, Solomon Royes and John East Dix, a lion passant mark indicating sterling silver, a London city mark, date mark for the year 1817, and a King George III duty mark.
