An oil painting on canvas portrait of a man by listed Armenian artist Alejke Gurgin Kazarianb (born 1938), created in 1973. The work depicts the portrait of a man with white beard wearing a brown hat and gazing directly at the viewer. The painting is signed and dated by the artist to the lower left. A framer’s label and inscription reading ‘Cecilia and E.R Dixon’ are present to the verso. Presented without glass, housed in a wood frame with golden-tone textured finish.
Condition
- minor wear throughout frame; canvas is slightly detached from the right side of the frame and it would benefit from securing.
