Item Details
An oil on canvas painting, created by an unknown artist in 1978. This piece depicts the facade of St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, viewed through Jackson Square. It is initialed, dated and titled to the lower left. Presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso. The location and date of the painting are written in ink to the verso on the backing paper.

- craquelure throughout painting; several areas of paint loss to lower right; darkening to varnish; general wear to frame.
