An oil painting on canvas of a countryside landscape by listed Austrian artist Hans Pawlitschek (1909-1972). This work features a farmhouse surrounded by fenced acres of land; a pond populated with geese is situated in the foreground and autumnal trees are scattered throughout landscape. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a brown wood frame with a canvas liner. A stamp, a descriptive label, and a short bio of the artist from W.T. Burger Company are present to the verso. Some handwriting on one of the labels reads ‘6.5.63 Wozniak’.
Condition
- minor wear throughout frame includes scratches scattered throughout and wear at the corners.
