Antique Carnation McNicol 1912 calendar plate. Both a colorful and charming piece this plate displays a young couple at the rail of a ship to the right side. The left side features a colorful sports equipment theme and a 12 month calendar. The border in gold lustre finish and scalloped rim with gold accents. Marked ‘Carnation McNicol’ to the underside.

Condition

This plate still displays quite nicely but does have a chip to the upper left side, fading to the gold accent rim. Also, all-over crazing and some discoloration consistent with age.
