A limited edition offset lithograph by listed artist Barbara A. Wood, titled First Love. This print on paper depicts an Expressionist rendering of a woman’s face in profile, surrounded by a frenetic layering of pastel and earthen pigment indicating hair and a bouquet of flowers pressing up against her. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in-plate signature, which is complemented to the margins with a handwritten print edition, listed 506 of 975, and an artist signature. The print is presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded leaf patterning. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and a certificate of authenticity.
