A large Herend porcelain hand painted figurine of ‘Janos Vitez’, a Hungarian fairytale character with a dragon. Janos is standing with sword in hand wearing a green military jacket with red hat and pants, looking upward as the slain dragon is intertwined at his feet. Marked to the underside with a Herend Hungary blue stamp and impressed ‘HEREND’ mark. Inscribed by hand ‘5599’ and ‘74’ hand written in blue.
