Circa 1870 Gustav Becker Wall Clock with Pendulum
Item Details
A German-made, circa 1870 vintage wood wall clock with pendulum. The clock case is made of wood, featuring crown molding at the top, with turned and fluted columns to either side of the front glass paneled door. The round white enameled dial has black Roman numerals and pierced hands. The pendulum and pendant are brass, and the pendant is round with a white enameled center marked ‘R – A’. At the bottom is a metal and white enamel pointer with measurements. The bottom of the clock case has three wood finials. A small label attached to the clock has handwritten notes, including ‘Germany – Gustav Becker – Hr. & 1/2 coil strike – Circa 1870’.
