A carved soapstone bear by Six Nations artisan Loreene Henry. This sculpture depicts a bear seated on an organically shaped base. It is signed ‘Loreene Henry Six Nations Ontario Canada 1987’ to underside.

Loreene Henry is well known for her sculptures of men, women, and children. Many of her pieces involve many different themes of serenity and humanity in mothers and their children, the Three Sisters, and Clan Mothers.
