A limited edition lithograph on paper titled Plume Girls by listed artist, Doris Rosenthal (American, 1895-1971). Doris Rosenthal’s artwork was often inspired by Indigenous peoples and cultures of remote regions in Mexico. This print depicts three raven-haired girls with solemn expressions on their faces, huddled next to each other while wrapped in blankets. It is signed, titled, and numbered ‘41/95’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. This print is matted in beige and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a paper backing and metal hanging wire to the verso. To the verso are handwritten inscriptions.

Condition

- some toning to print; slight buckling along upper edge of print; mat has small scratch to the lower right corner; surface wear and discoloration throughout frame; loose frame joints; wear to the verso.
