George III Style Inlaid Chest-on-Chest

Item Details

A George III style inlaid chest-on-chest. The two-section, mahogany-veneered case features a molded cornice above three aligned over three machine-dovetailed, long drawers. Directly below is a pull-out dressing slide over a stack of three long drawers. The crossbanded, cockbeaded, and burl-veneered fronts are fitted with bail handles and escutcheons. The whole piece rises on a molded base ending in bracket feet.
