Sessions Carved Gingerbread Pendulum Mantel Clock

Item Details

A Sessions carved gingerbread pendulum mantel clock. This unique clock features a carved oak case with foliate and scroll motifs to the pediment and side panels. The clock is housed behind a glass door with a gold toned reverse painting depicting an urn with flowers and tracery style motifs. The face of the clock offers a brass toned bezel, an ivory face with black Roman numerals and hands, marked ‘Sessions, Made in U.S.A.’ The case also houses a leaf embellished brass toned pendulum, with working key, and rises on a molded wooden plinth base.

Condition

- to fair, condition is consistent with age and shows signs of wear to the finishes, and bent hands, pendulum is unattached, has working key.
