Antique Dressing Glass

Item Details

An antique dressing glass with a flame mahogany finish. Consists of a central framed mirror with a crossgrained border, mounted via two bronze-tone metal anchors to twin turned side pillars topped with vasiform finials. The mirror is set on a rectangular base with two half-width drawers, each featuring hand-carved dovetail joinery and brass-tone oval button pulls. This dressing glass rises on four turnip feet.

- could benefit from a cleaning; crack on back; wear consistent with age.
