Portrait Needlepoint Pillows
Item Details
A pair of Neoclassical inspired needlepoint toss pillows. The pillow depicting a boy in a red velvet suit is after a painting by Sir Thomas Lawrence (English, 1769-1830) titled Master Lambton. A second pillow, showing a boy in yellow pants with a rabbit is after a painting by Henry Raeburn (Scottish, 1756–1823) titled Boy with Rabbit. Each pillow depicts a boy dressed elaborately and sitting in an outdoor scene. The pillows are finished with a geometric border and a taupe backing.
