A Limited Edition Boehm porcelain figurine ‘The Royal Duet’. This collectible was created to commemorate the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. A red rose and white rose are featured on a rock look base with two branches of a dogwood tree rising from behind. Maker’s mark and number 200-58 as well as number 169 Year 1981 to the underside. Boehm Porcelain was started by Edward Marshall Boehm (1913-1969), an American sculptor most known for the porcelain birds and wildlife sculptures he created, promoted by his equally well-known spouse, Helen Boehm. Together, the two founded E.M. Boehm Studios. Works created in the studio are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the studio is known for its fine and elegant sculptural work owned by museums, royalty and celebrities worldwide.
