Antique Crystal Inkwell with Sterling Silver Lid

An antique John Grisnell & Sons pressed crystal inkwell with sterling silver lid. Featuring a swirled ribbed design to the cube like base with a swirled flip top sterling lid with polished divot inkwell to the interior center of the cube. Sterling stamp to side of neck features the maker’s mark JG & S with the Lion head and an R date code for 1892. John Grisnell & Sons made silver goods from 1892-1905.

Condition

- wear and tarnish to the lid
- scuffing to the base from use.
