Terracotta Vase with Iguana

A terracotta vase with an iguana. This vase presents a simple round form with a gently fluted neck. An iguana is wrapped around the body of the vase, appearing to break through the ceramic material. The vase is artfully distressed, with turquoise and mauve highlighting the iguana, which also has a realistically painted yellow eye. There are no apparent maker’s marks.
