A limited edition offset lithograph by artist Thomas J. Allen, titled Eastern Wild Turkey. This print on paper depicts the aforementioned bird watching over its baby chicks, surrounded by an overgrown arrangement of leaves, bark and dirt. To the lower margins is a printed title, as well as the bird’s scientific species name. This is complemented to the lower right corner of the composition by an in plate signature, as well as a handwritten signature and print edition, listed 159 of 1000. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- glass could benefit from cleaning; light wear throughout frame finish; paper backing punctured throughout; stains to corners of matting.
