A pair of vintage 10K two tone gold commemorative rings featuring black onyx and blue topaz gemstones. This selection features a 10K yellow gold commemorative ring containing a carved black onyx cabochon reading ‘James Madison University’ engraved around a symbolic crest, also engraved into the black onyx. The ring also features engraved foliage and floral details along the crown and shoulders and engravings ‘JMU’ and ‘78’ on the shoulders. Also included in this selection is a 10K white gold commemorative ring containing a blue topaz center stone with a border reading ‘Patrick Henry Roanoke Virginia’, pictographic engravings on either shoulder reading ‘1972’, ‘Veritas Vincit’ which translates to ‘truth prevails’ in English, and ‘Liberty or Death’. Both rings include personalized inscriptions on the interior of the shank reading ‘SLC’, ‘Sharon Clifton’ and ‘BS’.
