A J. R. Meyers Acoma pottery jar. This jar was created by J.R. Meyers in Acoma, New Mexico. The piece composed out of clay features a circular lip leading to a bulbous form. The jar is surfaced in a buff slip and is accented with animal and floral hand painted designs in black and red slip. The underside of the piece is signed, ‘J.R. Meyer, Acoma N.M.’
