Item Details

A circa 1970s ladybug-motif novelty transistor radio. The battery-powered black plastic radio features two eye-motif dials to the front, two red plastic antennae and a black carrying strap. It also includes a speaker concealed under two moveable red wings decorated with white polka-dots. The item is marked ‘British Design, Reso No. 972003, Made in Hong Kong’ to the underside.

- right wing is slightly off-center; wear, fading and scuffing from age and use; dust and debris present; untested.
