A Helmut Schäffenacker ceramic cubic vase, shape 639. This vase features a cubic body comprised of a grid pattern and geometric apertures to the rim; glazed in a variegated brown, gray and deep yellow glaze. Signature has been stamped in ink on a gilt label adhered to the lower right of the vase. Numbered doubly ‘639/639’ to the underside.

Condition

- minor cracks to glaze around geometric apertures.
