Hand Thrown Raku Fired Stoneware Vase with Texture
Item Details
A hand thrown stoneware raku fired vase with a textured top from Boston, Massachusetts. The work is glazed in an iridescent copper glaze with flashes of deep, saturated reds and greens. It has an applied top with a teardrop hole, incised with ribbed markings leaving an intentional crackled texture. Marked illegibly to the bottom and presented freestanding.
Condition
- some scratches and wear around base; small area on lip was chipped off and repaired; some scratches around body of vase.
