Item Details

A ceramic wall plaque of an abstract scene attributed to Karlsruher Majolika. The piece features multiple organic forms in blue, yellow, off-white and bursts of red glaze. Marked and numbered to the underside ‘Dülken/A 547’, standing for the West German town that this piece was possibly created. A d-ring is installed to the verso.

Condition

- glaze presents intentional craquelure; minor stains along corners of ceramic plaque.
