A colorful verdure tapestry depicting a late Medieval hunting scene. This machine woven piece uses rich greens, browns, reds and gold tones to depict men on horseback and hunting dogs in a forest. It has a floral and foliate border, and a tag on the backside which reads ‘Hawking with Emperor Maximilian’, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
