A plaster sculpture of a man devouring a child’s head. This piece depicts the bust and arm of a man with slicked hair wearing a monocle and a suit. He has his head tilted back and his mouth open unnaturally wide, with the head of a child held in his palm and being fed into the mouth. It is signed ‘A. Dickinson’ in mold. The small head is removable. The plaster is finished with a textured black paint that has been speckled with white.

Condition

- wear and chips to paint is present to the small head; paint is chipped in places on monocle chain.
