Shemuel Katz Limited Edition Serigraph "View of The Western Wall"

A limited edition serigraph on paper titled View of the Western Wall by Israeli artist Shemuel ( also spelled Shmuel) Katz (1926-2010). This work pieces together areas of flat color and line drawings to depict the western wall of Jerusalem and the domed roofs and wires of the city surrounding it. It is signed by the artist in graphite to the lower right corner and is marked with an edition number of ‘102/150A’. In a pocket affixed to the verso is a card with information on the artist. This piece is presented behind a triple mat and glass in a plastic-covered wood frame that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- plastic over wood on frame is warped and coming off; water spots along right side verso.
