An oil painting on canvas by listed American artist Gerald Hennesy (born 1921). This depicts undulating sand dunes, tufted with patches of grass, leading down to a beach before the pale water under the morning light. It is signed in the bottom right and presented in a gold tone wooden frame that is wired for hanging.

- yellowing to varnish; stains to linen liner; peeling to finish of frame.
