Early 20th Century New York Knife Company Pruning Hawkbill Pocket Knife

A Hammer Brand model pruning pocket knife from the New York Knife Company. This piece was made before the 1940s and features a hawkbill shaped blade with a finger assist that is held in a mahogany tone handle. The maker’s mark is stamped the ricasso of the blade.

Condition

- heavy wear, dulling, oxidation and residue present on the blade of the knife; moderate wear and residue present on the handle.
