A framed and matted wood engraving after Salvador Dali (1904-1989) titled, Purgatory Canto 20: Avarice et Prodigalite from ‘The Divine Comedy’ series. The approximate size of the image measures 18 × 25 cm and depicts two figures before the faces of those condemned to purgatory The artist’s signature appears in block. The piece rests in a narrow gold tone frame with a wire affixed to the verso for hanging.
