Item Details

An antique gingerbread mantel clock by the Waterbury Clock Co. This eight day pendulum mantel clock dates to circa 1890. The clock case is made from oak. There is a glass door that has gilt floral and foliate detail design on the front. Included is the original pendulum.

Condition

- untested; some loss of paint on the gilt accents; some chips to wood, top piece slants away from wood casement at top, split in the wood on the gingerbread detail, paper from manufacturer is deteriorating, clock is not tested, no key is included, water stains to the exposed wood.
