1930s Litho Plate Blackboard Easel

Item Details

A vintage child’s Litho Plate blackboard easel. The oak easel has a rolling paper scroll to top featuring wonderful graphic images of farm animals, fruit, clowns and Art Deco style streamlined vehicles, boats, and passenger trains. There is a storage rack to the back over a double sided writing surface with a blackboard below. The easel is marked ’ Litho Plate Slated Black Board; Richmond School Furniture Co., Muncie, Ind.’ with a label to back, a decal to the top and “Copyright 1939 Richmond School Co.” to the paper scroll.

Condition

- with markings and wear; tape residue; the scroll is difficult to roll.
