An original 1992 ink cartoon illustration prototype by contemporary American cartoonist Jim Borgman (born 1954), best-known for his political cartoons, illustrations for the Cincinnati Enquirer, and the comic strip Zits. The image depicts a satirical illustration of a politician standing at the head of a long meeting table, addressing President Clinton and other members of Congress about the budget deficit, before excusing herself to tend to her burning cookies. Artist signature is signed to the upper left of the drawing. This work is mounted under coordinating matting, under museum glass in a beveled wood frame with a blonde stained finish, equipped to hang.
