An original 1995 ink cartoon illustration prototype by contemporary American cartoonist Jim Borgman (born 1954), best-known for his political cartoons, illustrations for the Cincinnati Enquirer, and the comic strip Zits. The image depicts a satirical illustration of Senator Phil Gramm strategizing for the 1996 Presidential election. Artist signature is signed to the upper left of the drawing. This work is mounted under coordinating matting, under museum glass in a beveled wood frame with a red stained finish, equipped to hang.
