An oil painting of a dock on canvas, made in 1950 by an artist signing the work ‘G. B.’ This work depicts a pair of boats on glassy water, with a shadowy line of trees and structures to the distance. The piece, which is rendered in painterly daubs of color, is signed and dated to its lower left corner, and is presented in a gold tone frame with a cord to its verso for hanging. There is an illegible pencil notation to the verso.

- wear to frame; denting to canvas; residue to surface; crazing to surface of painting; toning to verso of canvas.
